Dear Wavegate customer,
As you know we have experienced a considerable amount of trouble with the Wavegate email accounts…. Therefore, we are moving Wavegate email to a new server with more security and also the option for you to change the amount of spam you want to receive….For you to set your own SPAM filters you will have to log into the web-mail from a browser…. To access the new webmail, please go to: http://webmail.wavegate.com login with your complete email address (youname@wavegate.com) and your password If you received this with Outlook Express or Outlook you will not be able to send out without make the changes below. If you normally use Internet Explorer to get your mail there will be no changes on your behalf except the first time you log in….Follow the instruction to set up your own preferences….Keep in mind that the amount of email you receive is a function the spam settings, above low knocks a lot of email you might want….I suggest you leave it alone for a little while, before changing…..See how it works for you.. “IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING ENOUGH SPAM TO SUITE YOUR NEED FOR INFORMATION SET IT TO VERY-LOW. If you are still getting to much go to medium. Since, we have had trouble receiving so SPAM you might thing that was the issue. The major issue is the mail Wavegate customers are sending out. Therefore, to prevent from the servers from being blacklisted, we have limited the amount email you can send to 250 in a twenty four hour period….If you have problem with this please contact us at techsupport@isirome.com..
For WEBMAIL ACCESS go to: For OUTLOOK EXPRES USERS: Open Outlook Express Go to Tools on the menu bar Scroll down to accounts Click on Mail Tab Pick on the Wavegate email accounts Then select properties Click on Servers tab Change outgoing server to read….smtpout.secureserver.net Down at the bottom under Outgoing Mail Server Put a check in the Box My server requires authentication To the right you will see box for setting, click on that… This page will show two options….the first one should be correct that says use the same setting as the incoming mail….make sure there is a check on this selection. Then apply, then ok, then close, and close outlook and restart… For OUTLOOK only users: Open Outlook Go to Tools menu bar Scroll down to E-MAIL accounts Pick view or edit existing account Highlight Wavegate account Click on Change On the right side of the box you will see servers: change the outgoing server to read smtpout.secureserver.net… Next click more setting Click Outgoing Server Put a check in the Box My server requires authentication Then Select use the same setting as the incoming mail…. Then Click OK Then Click Next Then Click Finish Restart Outlook
